World Indigenous Missions Healthcare Ministries
WIM Healthcare Ministries is a holistic ministry patterned after the healing and proclamation ministry of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide health and dental care for the needy in developing countries by aligning volunteer healthcare teams with host ministries. WIM Healthcare Teams go into physically-challenging and spiritually needy areas of the world and share Christ’s love throughout the year. Gene Flanery, the director of the ministry, is also adjunct instructor of Spanish at Kansas City University of Medicine and Sciences and has specialized in medical Spanish training since 2001. On-site medical and dental Spanish immersion courses in Mexico are offered throughout the year.
